Company Story

Raleigh Founded traces its roots back to 2012 when a group of visionary entrepreneurs recognized the need for a supportive ecosystem to fuel the burgeoning startup scene in Raleigh. They envisioned a space where innovators could connect, collaborate, and access the resources needed to transform their ideas into reality.

What began as a shared workspace has since evolved into a comprehensive platform offering a range of services tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs and small businesses. 

Coworking and Community

At the core of Raleigh Founded’s ethos is the belief that innovation thrives in an environment of collaboration and community. By fostering connections between diverse individuals and organizations, Raleigh Founded cultivates a culture of innovation where ideas can flourish and businesses can thrive.

One of the hallmarks of Raleigh Founded is its vibrant coworking spaces, designed to inspire creativity and facilitate collaboration.

But Raleigh Founded is more than just a physical space; it’s a community-driven ecosystem where members support and empower one another. 

Through networking events, workshops, and mentorship programs, entrepreneurs have access to invaluable resources and expertise to navigate the challenges of building a business.

Today, there are 4 main locations in the Triangle, NC area: Gateway, North Street, Capital Club, Cary (their newest location!) and Centennial. Founded Members also gain access to 8 other coworking locations across North and South Carolina through the Coworking Passport partnership.

Central to Raleigh Founded’s mission is the empowerment of entrepreneurs from all walks of life. Through its diverse range of programs and initiatives, the organization strives to level the playing field and create opportunities for underrepresented founders.

For example, Raleigh Founded’s sponsored membership program provides early-stage startups with the resources and community they need to scale their businesses.

Founded also partners with different accelerator and grant programs that uplift startups and small businesses that serve under-resourced communities.

Additionally, initiatives like their Black Entrepreneurship and Community panel, and minority-focused networking events, aim to address disparities in access to resources and support.

Raleigh Founded & Karma Wallet

Since its inception, Raleigh Founded has made a significant impact on the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. 

The organization has supported hundreds of startups, facilitated millions of dollars in funding, and created countless jobs in the Raleigh area. 

Karma Wallet meets up in Raleigh for quarterly team meetings to brainstorm ways to make our mission even more impactful. We’ve used Raleigh Founded several times, for both events and internal team meetings, and have had the best experience there. Truly a unique space!
