2023 in Review

Introduction

This year has been huge for Karma Wallet. And we couldn’t have done it without you.

With the help of our community, we donated 5% of our revenue, planted 4,273 trees, and offset 142.13MT of carbon, equivalent to 15,993 gallons of gasoline. Here’s some other updates from 2023!

2023 Transaction Data

Our community spent this year supporting local, sustainable, and ethical brands. We analyzed our transaction data from 2023 and found that the top values supported were: Inclusive Employment, Transparent Practices, and Promotes Education.

These top values are all part of our “People” category, highlighting that our community cares deeply about social justice and transparent practices from the companies they shop with.

Certified B Corporation

In 2023, we joined a network of companies using business as a force for good. Our B Corp Certification highlights our commitment to social justice and environmental sustainability. Through this process, we also committed to donate 5% of our revenue to nonprofits.

The Karma Wallet Card

This year, we started building the future of sustainable finance. You’ll be hearing a ton about it soon– but it’s called the Karma Wallet Card: a prepaid, reloadable debit card that gives back to people and planet. 2024 at Karma Wallet

2023 was awesome. But in 2024, we plan to do even more. From the upcoming launch of our Karma Wallet Card, to giving back 5% to our non-profit partners, we plan for 2024 to be our biggest year yet.
